EMERGENCY services were called to a sports centre after a footballer had broken their leg during a game.
A crew from Wareham Fire Station and an ambulance team were called yesterday afternoon (April 16) to the sports centre in Wareham, after emergency services were contacted by a passerby.
A spokeswoman from Dorset & Wiltshire Fire Rescue Service (DWRFS) said: "At 2:30pm, we were called upon by a passerby to help a footballer with a broken leg before the ambulance service arrived.
"Great teamwork with all involved and we wish the gentleman a speedy recovery."
