A MAN has been given a large bill from the courts after failing to attend unpaid work.
Grant Murray, 38 and of Boundary Lane, Ringwood, received a community order with unpaid work requirement from Dumbarton Sheriff Court on February 23 last year.
Murray was alleged to have failed to attend the required sessions on December 8 and December 22 last year.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on April 8, Murray admitted the breach of the community order.
Magistrates amended the order by extending the compliance date for all requirements to November 22.
Murray was fined £547 for the breach and ordered to pay £60 costs.
