THREE men from Bournemouth and Poole were dealt with in closed-door court hearings on the same day in Cornwall for motoring offences.
The cases were all dealt with under the single justice procedure at Bodmin Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, April 12.
None of the defendants were present in court, with the cases dealt with by a single magistrate. The details of the cases are listed below.
Michael Neil Stevenson, 66 and of Rochester Road, Bournemouth, was convicted of driving a Vuxhall Movano at a speed exceeding 60mph on the A38(A) Deep Lane to Marshall Mills in Plympton, Plymouth, on June 28 last year. He was fined £66 and ordered to pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs. His driving record was endorsed with three points.
Michael Noel Reynolds, 31 and of Keeble Crescent, Bournemouth, pleaded guilty to driving an Audi A6 at a speed exceeding 70mph on the A30 Stowford Cross, Devon, on June 28, 2021. He was fined £66 and ordered to pay a £34 surcharge. His driving record was endorsed with three points.
Aaron David Short, 26 and of Border Road, Upton, admitted driving a Renault Trafic on the A30 Millpool Junction in Lanivet, Bodmin, on June 29, 2021, at a speed exceeding 60mph. He was fined £66 and ordered to pay a £34 surcharge. His driving record endorsed with three points.
