FIRE crews rushed to a Verwood property after an officer heard an alarm sounding and could see a haze through the window.
Crews from Verwood and Ringwood attended Ringwood Road at 12.25pm on Monday, April 18.
A spokesperson for Verwood Fire Station said: “One of our officers placed a running call for an address in Verwood that had an alarm sounding and a haze could be seen through the window.
“Crews from Verwood and Ringwood were mobilised and on arrival a small fire was located in the kitchen.
“This was extinguished using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet and the property was then ventilated.
“The electricity board also attended at the request of the crews in order to isolate the electrics.”
The stop message came at 12.58pm.
