A WOMAN died after requiring medical assistance in Christchurch.
Dorset Police and the ambulance Service rushed to Chewton Common Road in Christchurch on Tuesday, April 19, after receiving a report of a woman requiring assistance.
Despite the efforts of a member of public, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Dorset Police received a report at 10.28am on Tuesday, April 19 from a member of the public of a woman requiring medical assistance in Chewton Common Road in Christchurch.
“Officers attended with the ambulance service. Very sadly, despite the efforts of the member of the public, police officers and paramedics, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and her family has been informed. The coroner has been notified.
“Dorset Police would like to thank the member of the public for their assistance at the scene.”
