ARMED police were deployed after a teenage boy was injured in Bournemouth on Wednesday.
Police and ambulance were sent to Landford Way near Castlepoint around 3.05pm on Wednesday after reports a teenage boy had been injured.
Residents reported seeing armed officers, the dog unit and the police helicopter overhead in reponse to the incident.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "The victim sustained a cut that did not require hospital treatment. Four people have been arrested on suspicion of assault and affray.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident."
Armed police were seen in a field off Broadway Lane and Careys Road during the afternoon.
Dorset Police were unable to confirm details about the four who have been arrested.
