A CAR with a blue flashing light inside was seen being driven dangerously and in an "erratic" manner in Hurn.
The Vauxhall, which was not believed to be an emergency services vehicle, overtook “several” other vehicles in Parley Lane at around 8.40pm on Monday, April 18.
The dark-coloured vehicle was seen travelling at high speed in the direction of Parley.
Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have dashcam footage to contact them.
Police Constable Sam Kinsella, of East Dorset police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries in relation to this incident and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please get in touch.
“I would also urge anyone who was travelling in the area around the relevant time and has dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please check their footage for anything that might assist our investigation.”
