A MAN was approached by three strangers and assaulted in broad daylight in Christchurch.
The victim, local man aged in his 40s, sustained injuries to his back following the attack at the junction of Gardner Road and Barrack Road in the Jumpers area of the town.
The incident happened on the afternoon of Friday, April 15.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Dorset Police was called at 2.56pm on Friday 15 April 2022 to an incident at the junction of Gardner Road and Barrack Road in Christchurch.
“The victim, a local man in his 40s, had been approached by three unknown people and assaulted. He sustained back injuries that required hospital treatment.”
The spokesperson said enquiries into the incident are ongoing and no arrests have been made.
