A POPULAR sustainable clothes swap event returns to Southbourne next week.
Swish It! will be held at The Larder House on Thursday, April 28, and gives fashion fans the chance to take along quality pre-loved clothes and take home a new wardrobe.
People will be able to drop off clothes from 1pm with doors open from 2pm until 6.30pm.
The event is organised by ethical PR agency, Warrior Agency, and sustainable stylist, Buddy & Noo, who are both based in Southbourne.
Alice Nichol, founder of Buddy and Noo, said: “Our last event was so much fun. Yes, we saved a lot of clothes from landfill and raised much-needed funds for Wardrobe Foundation, but we also had an absolute blast while doing it. We can’t wait to do it all again and see even more people leave with bags full of sustainable, stylish clothes ready for the summer.”
Lizzie McManus, founder of Warrior, said: “We were absolutely blown away by how well people responded to the last Swish It! event. People even asked us when the next one was happening while the first one was still going on. It really is back by popular demand.”
Tickets are £5 per person with any profits and unswapped clothing going to local initiative, Wardrobe Foundation. Non-swapping visitors are also welcome.
Guests can purchase tickets on the door or in advance at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/swish-it-tickets-220546690087.
