Owner Paul Angel said: "Rob our manager is busy sorting out the records for everybody but it's been a great morning, an early start.
"Rob was here at four, Grant was here at five, I got here at six, Jenson was here at seven, so we had a staggered start and it's been a brilliant morning so far, we've still got a big queue.
"The queue started at 8 o'clock yesterday morning, the first guy was here then, that was Fat Reg he always arrives here early and they just keep going overnight, keeping the pubs entertained.
"It's probably the busiest day of the year, beats Christmas as well so it's amazing."
One customer, waiting in the queue said: "I am queueing today to add to my collection, pick up the Cure, I've got most of their stuff and some other random bits.
"It's one of my favourite days Record Store Day, it just adds to the collection. It's a chance to pick up some rare collectible items and it's really good fun."
