MORE than 70 vintage emergency vehicles will be on show near Castlepoint this Sunday.
The event, named ‘999 Emergency Vehicle Day’, will showcase fire engines, ambulances and police cars at Bournemouth Electric next to Castlepoint.
Classic cars will also be at the event, which runs between 10am and 4pm.
Activities for children will be put on, as well as live entertainment and food and drink.
Mark Callaghan, chairman of Bournemouth Electric, said: “This will be a great day.
“These historic vehichles are inherently interesting even if you’re not a real enthusiast.
“One of the fire engines even appeared on London’s Burning the TV show.
“And children always enjoy looking at these machines – it'd be a great way for parents and grandparents to pass a few hours with their young charges.”
Tickets can be bought on the day costing between £2.50 and £5, or can be bought online here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/999-emergency-vehicle-day-tickets-291153486917
