A SHAKE-UP of the council's direct online engagement sessions with residents is on the way.
BCP Council leader Drew Mellor has held fortnightly question and answer live broadcasts across social media platforms in recent months.
These sessions see a wide range of subjects asked with an opportunity to residents to have direct communication with the leader.
The next fortnightly session would have been scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 27, however the council said a decision was made to put the events on hold for the time being.
The Daily Echo was told this decision was made before a heated full council meeting at Bournemouth Town Hall on Tuesday, April 26.
A BCP Council spokesperson said: "We want to make our Live Q&A sessions informative, relevant and engaging.
"To achieve that we are currently re-working our live Q&A offering.
"We hope to deliver longer sessions that go into more depth regarding the subjects that matter most to BCP residents as well as still making sure viewers can ask the questions that are important to them.
"We will be revealing the new format shortly with the next live session taking place in the coming weeks.”
