A LARGE amount of machinery and equipment was stolen during an overnight burglary at a school.
The maintenance yard at Port Regis School in Motcombe, North Dorset, was broken into some time between 9pm on Monday, April 25, and 3am on Tuesday, April 26.
Various items were stolen, including an all-terrain vehicle. Dorset Police Officers have launched an investigation.
Police Constable Neil Hawkes, of North Dorset police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who has any information relating to this burglary or who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on the night of Monday 25 April 2022 to please contact us.
“From our enquiries we understand a high-top transit van may have been used in this offence and I would urge anyone who witnessed such a vehicle in the vicinity around the relevant time, or who may have captured anything on dashcam footage, to get in touch.”
