A POD of bottlenose dolphins has been spotted breaching off the coast of Boscombe.
It is the second morning in a row a group of aquatic mammals have been spotted gamboling in the sea.
The dolphins were spotted by Justinas Bukelskis.
Justinas said: “We were next to East Cliff zig zag by the Fisherman’s Walk when we saw them swimming down the shore.
“It was amazing to see. I’ve been living here for 11 years and tourists have said they have seen dolphins in the sea, but I never believed it would be possible.
Justinas had been swimming in the sea that morning for exercise but only spotted them as he was leaving the beach.
He added: “We thought about going back in for a swim with them, but by that point I already had a hot tea in my hand... maybe next time.”
Another group of bottlenose dolphins, believed to be from the same pod, was spotted yesterday morning by Lexi Inman whilst working by Bournemouth beach.
