A PEDESTRAIN was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a crash involving a cyclist.
Emergency services were called to the collision in Wimborne on Tuesday morning.
Dorset Police was called at around 8.10am on April 26 to the incident in Lewens Lane.
The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 70s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The male cyclist, aged in his 50s and from Wimborne, sustained an injury to his hand that required medical treatment.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
Police Constable Duncan Roberts, of the traffic unit, said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of what happened and would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please come forward.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have been driving in the area and captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
