WHILST on a recent holiday in Norfolk I took a look at Great Yarmouth.
Yes, it is a resort with many problems least of all unemployment figures.
However as a popular resort the local council are putting money into developing visitor attractions. £26 million is being allocated to build a new pool and all year round attraction on the seafront. Why is our town being left behind?
We appear to be spending money on little used cycle lanes and neglecting our tourists and indeed, local needs.
If Great Yarmouth can spend money on a seafront attraction why can’t our authorities even repair or replace the east cliff lift?
Our much needed visitors want more than cycle lanes.
