RESIDENTS are preparing for a royal knees-up with more than 310 street parties planned across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole next month.
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee between June 2 and 5 will be marked with a host of festivities throughout the conurbation.
Councillor Beverley Dunlop, portfolio holder for culture and vibrant places, said: “I am so pleased to see the number of parties and other events that are being organised across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
"Everyone has embraced the jubilee weekend and are wanting to get out there and celebrate.”

In Poole, the beacon lighting will be at Sandbanks followed by fireworks in the bay.
A Park & Ride service will be available with additional evening journeys being laid on every 15 minutes by Morebus 60 service from Poole to Sandbanks.
Over bank holiday weekend, further events and activities will be happening with a Jubilee theme.
