DRONE footage has captured the swift action of firefighters who extinguished a blaze on Canford Heath that was extremely close to an electricity pylon.
Crews from Poole and Wareham rushed to the scene on Saturday evening shortly before 7pm.
The emergency service teams had the incident, which was located at the top of the hill to the east of the nature reserve, under control in a matter of minutes.
Echo Camera Club Dorset member Josh Coley caught drone footage of the firefighters dealing with the incident.
As reported, the small fire on the evening of May 14 came just three weeks after a huge wildfire ruined much of the heath.
The Daily Echo has contacted Dorset & Wiltshire fire and Rescue Service for more details on tonight's incident.
