A MAN who made threats to stab people with a machete when he was at a police station has been sentenced by the courts.
Emilio Fantauzzi, of Bennett Road, Bournemouth, was alleged to have behaved in a violent manner at Bournemouth Custody and Enquiries in Madeira Road on May 4.
The 30-year-old was charged with an offence under the Town Police Clauses Act 1847.
Appearing at Poole Magistrates’ Court on May 18, the defendant pleaded guilty to the single allegation of violent behaviour at a police station.
Magistrates issued the defendant with a conditional discharge for a period of 18 months.
Fantauzzi was ordered to pay a £22 surcharge and £85 costs.
