A ROYAL makeover has been given to a Primark shop window by a local charity.
A prominent window display at Primark’s store in The Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole has been given a royal makeover by Forest Holme Hospice Charity to mark the Queen’s forthcoming Platinum Jubilee.
In 2019, the store chose Forest Holme Hospice as its charity partner in a partnership aimed at both raising funds and awareness of its work in supporting patients and families across Poole, Wimborne and Isle of Purbeck at the most difficult time of their lives.
Subsequently, the store has organised regular activities with staff members such as gift donations, collections of foreign currency and stamps, as well as sweepstakes to support the charity’s fundraising.
Vicky House, department manager and head of the charity committee at Primark, said: "Forest Holme Hospice has created a great feature for the upcoming Queen’s Jubilee and we at Primark Poole are very proud that they have chosen to use our window for it.
"We are always so impressed with the displays that they create and appreciate all the hours of planning and preparation that go into each one. Forest Holme Hospice's current jubilee display in Primark Poole is most definitely fit for a Queen."
