A WOMAN from the New Forest has been sentenced by the courts for having a lock knife at one of the main railway stations in London.
Kira Marsh, 22 and of Pound Road, Pennington, was alleged to have had a lock knife at Kings Cross Railway Station on September 4, 2021.
Marsh had previously pleaded not guilty before changing her plea at a hearing on April 25.
Appearing before Southampton Magistrates’ Court on May 23, the defendant was handed a 12-month community order with a requirement to take part in up to 20 days of rehabilitation activity.
She was fined £150 and ordered to pay a £95 surcharge and £95 costs.
The bench ordered that the lock knife must be forfeited and destroyed.
