BIN collection services in the BCP area will mostly take place as normal over the upcoming Jubilee Bank Holidays this June.
Despite many collections being done on Thursdays and Fridays, the council will still collect waste on both Thursday, June 2 and Friday, June 3.
On Friday, June 3, when a small number of roads will be closed due to planned street parties, binmen will aim to collect all bins along these roads early in the morning ahead of closures.
The majority of scheduled street closures due to take place to accommodate street parties will take place on Sunday, June 5, the timing of which therefore minimises disruption to the council’s services.
More than 300 street parties will take place across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole during the jubilee.
