PRANKSTERS have yet again filled Poole Park's water fountain with bubbles and littered the evidence.
Residents stumbled across the unofficial bubble bath while walking through the park on Sunday morning and found several bottles and a box of washing detergent left on the ground.
For decades the water fountain in Poole Park has been targeted by pranksters who fill the facility with laundry powder or washing up liquid, creating the bubbly effect.
The pranks generally receive a mixed reaction, with some residents seeing the funny side while others describe it as “stupid”.
Regarding this weekend’s prank, residents on social media again offered differing views.
One woman said: “Don't understand why people get so offended by bubbles? The kids love it.”
However, another man replied: “Kids might love bubbles, but the cost of clearing this is astronomical. It actually clogs up the workings and damages the pumps. It’s mindless vandalism.”
