POLICE said it is monitoring two unauthorised traveller encampments in Christchurch and Poole.
Up to ten units were situated on private land at the old Travis Perkins site near Somerford roundabout, meanwhile two living units were in the Sandbanks car park.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Dorset Police received a report at around 9.30pm on Friday May 27 of an unauthorised traveller encampment at a derelict site in Somerford Road in Christchurch.
“Officers have been liaising with the landowner, as well as those present. We will continue to monitor the situation and carry out patrols in the area.
“We received a report at 9.39am on Sunday, May 29, of an unauthorised traveller encampment in Banks Road in Sandbanks, Poole.
“Officers from the local neighbourhood policing team will continue to liaise with the local authority who have primacy in this matter.”
BCP Council said it was aware of the encampments on the weekend.
It said assessments had been carried out and police were aware.
