A MAN has appeared in court for stealing two inflatable hot tubs from a B&Q store.
Gerald John Hughes, aged 49, was accused of stealing two Lazy Spas to the value of £1,050 from the shop in Fleets Lane, Poole, on March 27.
Hughes, whose address was given as Mistover Road, Wareham, pleaded guilty at Poole Magistrates’ Court on May 26.
The offence was committed while he was subject to a conditional discharge order for a period of two years imposed on February 3 for offences of being present at an animal fight and possession of live or dead wild birds.
The defendant was ordered to pay £525 compensation. It was ordered that the conditional discharge order continue and no action was taken on the breach.
