Storm damage left a road in Poole with significant damage after torrential rain hammered the area on Saturday night.
A spoksperson for BCP Council confirmed the damage to Winston Avenue in Poole was caused by the storm in the area on Saturday evening.
Thunder and lightning lit up the skies over Dorset on Saturday night, bringing heavy rain with flooding reported in Ringwood Road at the junction with Dale Road in Poole.

Yesterday BCP Council said they thought the damage was a suspected water sewer collapse.
But today, they confirmed the damage was due to the storm on Saturday night.
Emergency repairs are under way and should be finished today or tomorrow they said.
Temporary four way signals are at the mini roundabout, half-way between the junctions of Alder Road and Guest Avenue.
