MORE thunder could be on the cards this afternoon, according to the Met Office forecast.
As the forecast currently stands there’s a 60 per cent chance of thundery showers at 2pm.
And there’s also a 70 per cent chance of further thunder at 3pm.
It is set to be overcast at 4pm followed by further heavy rain at 5pm before things brighten up into the evening.
No weather warnings have been issued for today.
Yesterday afternoon, Dorset Sun said: “Risk of some single cell thunderstorms developing tomorrow afternoon with some convective showers developing courtesy of this trough. “Highest risk seems to be during the early afternoon.”
Flash flooding was reported in parts of Dorset including Poole Bus Station and Baiter Park.
The huge storm also caused a raid to collapse in Poole.
Damage was caused to Winton Avenue after the heavy downpour.
Emergency repairs are under way.
Looking ahead to the rest of the week, it will be dry and settled with sunny intervals and highs of around 18C.
