A BRAND new bakery in Christchurch is celebrating a successful first month.
M’s Bakery, a family-run business that has proven popular in Pokesdown, has opened a second bakery in Christchurch town centre.
The new store in Saxon Square serves a delicious array of freshly prepared sandwiches, artisan bread, pastries, and cakes.
Manager of M's Bakery, Zsolt Kapocsi, said: "We are very happy with the new store, it has met our expectations.

“We are trying to make the main focus of this store on sandwiches and cakes, that’s why we have a three times bigger fridge than in our Pokesdown store.
"Our first two customers were regulars from the Pokesdown store, they are locals to our new store, and they were really excited for us to open."
The business first began when the family started baking cakes at home, which they’d then sell at local markets.
The family then formed M's Bakery and launched their first store in Pokesdown, after a successful few years they have pushed their passion even further with their second store.

"In the far future, we are considering opening a store in Poole but we are very busy at the moment so it wouldn’t be until about four years’ time.
“We didn’t make too much fuss about advertising because we didn’t want to be too busy whilst we get used to the new store.
"The word does get out though, so we have still been busy with a lot of customers.”
The bakery has hit the headlines in the past as they were voted as having the best loaf of bread in the UK.
And in 2020 they delighted customers by creating cube croissants, a twist on the iconic French breakfast bread.
