IT'S set to be hot in Dorset this weekend with temperatures remaining high.
However, if you don't fancy heading to the beach there's lots to enjoy.
Here's our round-up of what's on where and when.
1. Hundreds of people are set to flock to Poole Quay when Harry Paye Day returns on Saturday. The free event takes place between 12pm and 6pm and will kick off with a parade of pirates, followed by live music, a best dressed junior pirates competition, pirate games, children’s rides, live history areas, canons and more.
2. A community fun day takes place at Queen’s Park Golf Course on Sunday, June 19 from 12pm. The free family event called Picnic in the Park will feature street food, live music, games and rides, entertainment and stalls.
3. A free outdoor yoga session will be held at Moors Valley Country Park on Sunday between 9am and 10am. The session, which is adults only, takes place every Sunday until September 11 in the picnic area next to the lake. Participants should take their own yoga mat or towel.
4. Elsewhere, yogis can take part in free yoga sessions in Bournemouth’s Central Gardens, Upton Country Park and at The Quomps in Christchurch at 9.30am on Sunday.
5. Celebrate Father’s Day with a movie at Careys Secret Garden in Wareham this weekend. The venue will be showing a number of screenings on the lawn. Visitors can watch The Empire Strikes Back on Friday evening with Forrest Gump on the Saturday. Then on Sunday, people can enjoy Honey I Shrunk the Kids on Sunday afternoon, with Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in the evening. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £6 for children. 6. Get your skates on for a roller disco at Two Riversmeet Leisure Centre in Christchurch on Saturday between 6.30pm and 9pm. Costs £6.50 per skater.
7. Dads will be able to ride the zipwire on Bournemouth Pier for free on Sunday with every paying customer on Sunday. The zipwire will be open between 11am and 5pm.
8. Farmer Palmers is offering half price entry for dads on Father’s Day on pre-booked tickets only. There will also be a barbecue for an additional price.
9. Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre is also offering 50 per cent off on Father’s Day for dads when tickets are booked in advance online.
