AN ELECTRIC bike was stolen from a garage in the Wimborne area as police an appeal for information.
Between 2am and 3am on Saturday, June 4, entry was gained to a garage at an address in Foxcroft Drive in the Canford Bottom area.
A Focus Jam 2 2019 6.7 plus electric bike in grey and black was stolen. The owner states that there is a distinctive chunk of paint missing on the right seat stay tube, which is covered with black tape.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following the burglary and have issued an image of the stolen bicycle.
Police Constable Joshua Pickering, of Bournemouth police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area to please come forward.
“As part of my enquiries I am issuing an image of the stolen bike and would ask anyone who has seen it for sale locally in unusual circumstances to please come forward.”
