A TESCO store had to close after a man allegedly exposed himself to members of the public and assaulted staff.
A man was arrested after police were called to the Tesco Express store in Shore Road, Sandbanks.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Dorset Police received a report at 9.25pm on Friday, June 17 that a man was refusing to leave Tesco in Shore Road in Poole.
“It was further reported that the man assaulted staff and caused damage to property.
“The man also allegedly exposed himself to members of the public.
“Officers attended and a 30-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly in a public place, assault and exposure.
“He has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.”
A Facebook post on the Poole Police page said the store opened as normal on Saturday.
Tesco has been contacted for a comment.
