A MAN stole a games console, controllers and a boardgame from a Bournemouth town centre retailer.
Aaron Richard Worrall, aged 40, was alleged to have committed the theft at Geek Retreat in Gervis Place on August 13 last year.
Appearing in the dock at Poole Magistrates’ Court on June 14, Worrall pleaded guilty to the single charge of theft.
Court papers that the overall value of the goods he took was £400.
The defendant, whose address was given as High Howe Lane, Bournemouth, was fined £50 and ordered to pay £400 compensation, £34 surcharge and £85 costs.
Worrall also admitted breaching a conditional discharge order imposed on August 9, 2021, for an offence of shoplifting. No action was taken on this breach.
