BOURNEMOUTH train station was deserted on Tuesday morning as rail workers began their strikes.
The Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union confirmed strikes at Network Rail and 13 train operators would go ahead this week.
The strikes are being held nationwide, as well as on the London Underground, as the RMT claims rail companies have frozen many workers’ pay.

And Bournemouth Train Station was closed, with no passenger trains travelling through Dorset.
