A BUSY morning was had by police officers while on patrol in Bournemouth town centre this morning.
Three Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) officers assisted their Dorset Police colleagues with a range of issues including locating a missing person and dealing with an aggressive man.
While on their regular patrols on Wednesday morning (June 29), CSAS officers completed the following:
- Located three people wanted by police who are now assisting police with enquiries.
- Located a vulnerable woman who had been reported missing and ensured she receives the continued support she requires.
- Assisted the police dog unit in locating a male who is a suspect in another investigation.
- Found two males who were in a location they should not have been – they too are assisting police with their enquiries.
- Assisted the BCP car parks team who were struggling to deal with an aggressive male.
A Bournemouth Police spokesperson said: “CSAS officers patrol in and around Bournemouth town centre seven days a week, signposting people to services, offering support and helping to keep the community safe. If you see us, please come and say hello.”
