A TARGETED evening of action at crime hotspots in Poole saw two arrests and alcohol seized from underage youths on Tuesday night.
Officers from Poole’s Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) were out in high visibility force on Tuesday evening, July 5, as part of Operation Servo – targeted action focusing on Poole Bus Station, Poole Town and Poole Quay to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour.
Poole NPT were also joined by CSAS officers who work closely with Poole Police to keep the community safe.
Some of the results from Operation Servo on July 5 include:
- Two males arrested
- The seizure of alcohol from underage youths
- Intelligence gained and submitted
- Interaction with the local community
Operation Servo will continue to be conducted on a regular basis and the force urged residents to keep an eye on its social media pages for more days of action across Poole's patch.
A Poole Police spokesperson said: “Please continue to report anti-social behaviour (ASB) and drug use to us. It enables us to map data and assess and task resources where they are needed most.”
