A MAN has been charged following the crash which killed a pedestrian in Ferndown.
Dorset Police received a report at 11.10am on Tuesday, July 5, of a collision in Redwood Drive involving a highways lorry that was carrying out resurfacing work and a male pedestrian.

Officers attended along with the ambulance service and the pedestrian, a 54-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family are being supported by specially-trained officers.
A man aged in his 30s was arrested in connection with the incident and has now been charged with causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.
He is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, July 7 2022.
