A MAN has appeared in court for stealing underwear from a mannequin situated in a driveway of a Dorset address.
William Andrew Westbrook was accused of committing the theft in North Bestwall Road, Wareham, on January 27.
Westbrook, aged 59, pleaded guilty to the single charge when he appeared in the dock at Poole Magistrates’ Court on July 6.
The defendant, whose address was given as Grafton Street, Portsmouth, was discharged conditionally for six months.
Deputy district judge Clare Boichot ordered the offender to pay £50 compensation, £22 surcharge and £85 costs.
