A POPULAR vintage festival has returned to Poole Quay following a two-year break due to Covid.
Poole Goes Vintage returned to the Quay this weekend, seeing guests enjoy the best of vintage music, dance, shopping, and vehicles.
Tony, who was visiting from Watford, said: “It’s been fantastic.
“There’s been a brilliant atmosphere- everyone’s out enjoying themselves.
“We come down every two years for my wife’s birthday, but when we last came this wasn’t here because of Covid.”
Many made the most of the festival's return, arriving in an impressive display of vintage-themed clothes and fancy dress.

But those without the vintage gear weren’t short of choice, as a whole vintage shopping experience had been set-up on the quay. Shoppers could browse between vintage accessories, clothes and shoes, as well as gifts, memorabilia and vintage photography.
Michelle and Clive Hamilton run a Vintage-Pin-Up Studio, a service offering a pin-up makeover followed by a photo shoot. They had set up at the festival to share their work.
Michelle said: “We’ve done this every year since it started. We’ve been really loyal to the show.
“It’s always been one of our best shows in the year.”
The Poole Goes Vintage event will continue on Sunday.
