FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house fire in the Springbourne area on Saturday night.
Crews from Springbourne, Redhill and Westbourne attended a three storey house fire in Garfield Avenue shortly after 9.30pm.
The fire, which had started on the first floor, was extinguished using four breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets.
Everybody was accounted for and nobody sustained any injuries, said a spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.
In a tweet, the service reminded people how important it is to call in such incidents. They wrote: “We took 9 calls reporting this incident - and they were all equally important.
"Never assume somebody else has already reported, if you see an incident please make that call... you could be able to provide vital information."
