IT’S all systems go for Dorset Food and Arts Festival Market as they get set to host their annual showcase of local food, drink and arts.
The fun starts at 10am on Saturday, August 6, at the Great Field in Poundbury with over 60 stalls around the field.

There’ll be wonderful displays of community talent as well as the finest in locally produced products: so there should be something for everyone.
Caz Richards, Dorset Food & Arts Festival coordinator, said: We really hope the local community and staycationers will come and support this popular event and look forward to seeing everyone. Shopping and in the fresh air, catching up with friends and supporting local producers. It’s a winning combination!”
Held on the Saturday closest to the late Queen Mother's birthday, the festival follows the pattern of previous years with free entry for all.
The Festival is supported by the Duchy of Cornwall and will return to the Queen Mother Square, Dorchester, next year.
Caz said: The festival in its current format has been scaled down, so there won’t be the usual cookery demonstrations or live music programme, but we are hoping to have a few ‘gentle’ buskers to give the shopping and trading experience some atmosphere. We’re looking forward to reimagining the event for 2023 in partnership with the Duchy!”
