MOTORISTS are reportedly facing two hour delays as people head out from Bournemouth this evening.
Dorset Council's traffic updates service, Travel Dorset, is reporting the "severe" delays on the A338 northbound out of Bournemouth and on the A31 in the New Forest.
Posting on Twitter just after 8pm on Sunday, Travel Dorset said: "There are severe delays on the A338 northbound out of Bournemouth and the A31 eastbound through the New Forest to the M27.
"Traffic sensors suggesting journey time is currently well in excess of two hours."

It comes after thousands of people flocked to beaches across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

Earlier today, there were major issues in East Cliff when cars were left parked on pavements and also blocking roads.
Bus operators Yellow Buses and Morebus said services were being affected by the illegally parked vehicles as buses were struggling to get through East Overcliff Drive.
Both Yellow Buses and Morebus called the situation "dangerous" with residents and hoteliers also hitting out over the problematic parking.
