PLANS to build a new outdoor learning resource centre at a Poole school are set to be given the green light this week.
Members of BCP Council’s planning committee are set to discuss the scheme for Broadstone Middle School.
Castleman Academy Trust is seeking permission from the local authority to carry out the development at the Dunyeats Road site to increase provision for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
Planning officer Monika Kwiatkowska has recommended councillors grant the application when they meet on Thursday, July 21.
A report by Ms Kwiatkowska said: “The proposed scheme would enhance the existing educational provision in the local area whilst complying with the relevant adopted local policies and the national guidance.”
The proposal requires a committee decision as it is considered a major category and located on council land.
