MORE trips will be made from Poole to Brownsea Island as the summer holidays begin.
From Monday, July 25, Brownsea Island Ferries will be running every half an hour, giving more opportunities for people to make the crossing.
A spokesperson for National Trust Brownsea Island said: “As the summer holidays are about to kick off we are making more boats available, the first boat leaving at 10am and the last boat returning from the island at 5pm.
“All boats will still depart and return to Poole Quay. Booking is advisable but not essential and can be done up to four weeks in advance.
“We also have a number of spaces available from our Seahorse vessel which is wheelchair user friendly.
“Enjoy the hustle and bustle of Poole Harbour before you get to the peaceful island we call Brownsea.”
