Three people have been injured in a crash.

Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash in Charlton Horethorne shortly before 1.45pm yesterday.

Pictures by Sherborne Fire Station show an overturned car and a lorry severely damaged.

Firefighters made the vehicles safe while paramedics treated three people.

A fire service spokesman said: "Thankfully all three had a very lucky escape as they were all wearing seatbelts. We wish all three a speedy recovery."

The road remained closed whilst the vehicles are recovered.
