A TEENAGE boy was assaulted after confronting a group of boys who had racially abused him in Poole.
It is reported that at around 8pm on Wednesday July 20, a teenage boy was racially abused by two other boys in Madeira Road.
The two boys left the area but returned a short time later with a third boy.
The victim confronted the boys and was subsequently assaulted. He sustained minor injuries.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following the racially aggravated assault.
Police Constable Jade Harper, of Poole Police, said: “We take all reports of hate crime very seriously and are carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident.
“As part of my investigation, I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened to please get in touch.”
