MOTORISTS are facing long delays on the A31 this evening due a road sweeper reportedly being on its side and blocking a lane.
Emergency services are on the scene on the eastbound carriageway between Picket Post and Stoney Cross in the New Forest.
There are reports of queuing traffic back past the Picket Post junction, while traffic is also slow westbound in the area of the incident.

Hampshire County Council's travel updates service ROMANSE has said one lane is blocked with approximately 50 minute delays from the A338 Salisbury Road in Ringwood.
