A RANGE Rover was among six cars stolen in Bournemouth North in the last two weeks.
Ben Vaughan reported his father's Range Rover as stolen from Ashridge Avenue, Northbourne, between 11pm on Monday, August 1 and 6am on Tuesday, 2.
He said: "According to social media there have been a spate of stolen cars from Morrdown, Ensbury Park and Northbourne in the last few months.
"We are shocked that this seems to be very common in our community at the moment."
Dorset Police said there have been six reports of vehicle thefts in the Bournemouth North area over the last two weeks.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “We received a report that a vehicle that had been parked outside an address in Ashridge Avenue in Bournemouth was stolen between 11pm on Monday 1 August 2022 and 6am the following morning.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. No arrests have been made.
“We would urge motorists to ensure their vehicles are left secure and parked in a well-lit area wherever possible. Motorists are also urged not to leave any valuable items on display.
