MOREBUS is offering a £3,000 welcome bonus to former Yellow Buses drivers if they attend a recruitment day and start straight away tomorrow.
From Friday, Yellow Buses will no longer be running services across the region and Morebus is preparing to run former routes of Yellow Buses from Saturday.
The welcome bonus is only available to drivers with a PCV licence holders who join immediately and start straight away on Friday, August 5.

A £2,000 welcome bonus is available for new recruits to PCV licence holders who join Morebus by Sunday, August 7.

There are 90 positions available to new drivers.
Morebus managing director Andrew Wickham said: “Yellow Buses’ situation is regrettable, and we understand the impact this will have on those who have relied upon its services here in Dorset. We are stepping in to run routes, to help keep the region moving,”
“We also appreciate the situation former Yellow Buses employees have found themselves in, and we are delighted to be able to offer them the opportunity to join Morebus.
“That is why we’re hosting a dedicated recruitment event tomorrow and Saturday in Bournemouth - and we’re inviting former Yellow Buses drivers to come and speak to our team with a view to fulfilling one of our vacancies.

“For those who would like join us, we can offer the chance of immediate employment and genuine job security. Morebus is a friendly and welcoming place to work, with excellent rates of pay - including an increase from 7 August to £13 an hour.
“To help soften the blow of the current situation, we are offering any drivers who visit us at the event on Friday and pledge to start their new role with us immediately, a £3,000 joining bonus.
“We are very much looking forward to welcoming a raft of new colleagues to the Morebus family, and to an exciting future for bus travel in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.”
The event will take place at The Village Hotel - Bournemouth, Deansleigh Road, BH7 7DZ on Friday 5 August 9am-6pm, and Saturday 6 August between 9am and 4pm.
Drivers can just turn up along with their UK category D driving licence, along with a driver qualification card (CPC), Right to Work documents, and bank details.
