The owner of Bournemouth's popular Cherries cafe will be expanding her business, opening a second site in neighbouring Christchurch next week.
Cherries on the Grove is a new sandwich bar and coffee shop opening on Monday, August 15, in Christchurch.
Mandy Norris, who runs the Cherries Cafe in Springborne, is opening the new store at 52 The Grove.
She said: "All my customers are very excited that I'm expanding.
"When I saw the site was up for sale I took it on straight away, I live very close by so it makes sense.
"The new store is going to be predominately take away but there is a bit of seating including outside seating.
"We will be selling jacket potatoes, sausage rolls, sandwiches, salads and lots more. We also sell gluten free products.
"A lot of my customers are tradesmen and they work across different areas so they are pleased they will now be able to visit me in two different parts of the BCP area.
"I had been looking for a few years for a second site and when this came up it felt right."
Mandy's first business, Cherries cafe, opened in 2009, it was launched by her sister Debbie, but Mandy took it over from her in November 2017.
The original store can be found at 65A Curzon Road, Springborne, Bournemouth BH1 4PW, a short distance from the Vitality Stadium.
The family believe the Curzon Road site is one of Bournemouth's oldest cafes as it has been a cafe since the 1940's.
Mandy added: "I've spent all this week preparing for the opening of Cherries on the Grove, I'm very excited to open.
"I've been painting and decorating and making sure everything is up together for Monday.
"I'm going to be very busy now but I've got some great staff who are helping me to run both of the sites.
"If this new store all goes well I will possibly be looking to expand even further in the future."
The new shop will be open Monday - Saturday, 7:30am - 2pm.
