Heavy delays on the A31 eastbound with one road closed
TRAFFIC is easing on the A31 after a crash involving three cars caused a lane closure near Ringwood.
One lane was closed following the crash between Picket Post and Stoney Cross on the A31 eastbound with very heavy traffic backed up to the Ashley Heath roundabout.
It has also caused delays on the A338 Spur Road northbound.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “At 12.16pm today (August 12) we received a report of a collision involving three cars on the A31 near Ringwood.
“No injuries were reported to us and the carriageway is now clear.”
The A31 is also slow westbound from Cadnam to Ringwood.
